The South Dakota Lions Foundation, with gifts from The Wellmark Foundation, South Dakota Lions Eye Bank, Reese Foundation, Al & Oz Schock, Houston Haugo Family, Prudential Insurance, District 5-SW of South Dakota Lions, District 5-SE of South Dakota Lions,  the Lions Club International Foundation, and Lion, Lioness and Leo Club contributions, developed the Mobile Screening Unit (MSU) to provide sight, hearing and health other screenings to residents of South Dakota.

Local clubs and other organizations sponsor visits of the MSU to their communities. Your sponsorship makes the MSU program possible.

The MSU procedures are screenings only, and should not be considered complete examinations. No diagnoses are made. When the results indicate a health risk, individuals are referred to medical professionals. All individuals who participate must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian written permission.

The South Dakota Lions Foundation believes the Mobile Screening Unit can provide a true public service to citizens of your community. Make it a success by involving your entire club, as well as local health care professionals.

This activity benefits your neighbors and lets us live the Lions motto:  WE SERVE!

To reserve the MSU, call the South Dakota Lions Foundation office at 1-888-SDLIONS.
